About Us

Welcome to Pretties by Penny! We’re a Michigan-based custom earring company founded by a dynamic mother-daughter duo with a shared passion for crafting lightweight earrings that combine style and comfort.

Our journey began in the midst of the pandemic when our daughter, Penny, had a brilliant idea to turn her creativity into a means of earning some extra funds. It was early 2021, and Penny’s desire to purchase an American Girl doll sparked the inception of our business.

What started as a way to fulfill a young girl’s dream quickly evolved into a labor of love. From vibrant studs to elegant dangles, each piece in our collection is thoughtfully designed and meticulously handcrafted. Our earrings are a reflection of our shared passion for beauty, creativity, and craftsmanship.

You can find us at various Farmer’s Markets and pop-up events where we love connecting with our local community and sharing the story behind each creation. We’re also proud to partner with select local retail stores, making it easier for you to see our one-of-a-kind earrings.
